She turns her head quickly - she isn’t used to being noticed like this. Something akin to panic struck her, before she heard the other woman’s words. “Oh? Yeah, sure. This is mine. Thanks.”
“No problem,” Harley said, handing the locket over, “It’s a pretty necklace.”
“It certainly is, especially in times like these in which finding a job is becoming harder and harder. Experiences will give you a push you’ll probably need later.” She walked in with a graceful step and looked around, the cafe was small but warm and cozy; the air smelled of coffee and so many other delicious things. “What are you having?”
“A gingerbread latte, I think. It’s not Starbucks, but this place does some pretty great flavoured coffees all year round. And maybe the tuna toasted sandwich.”
